• CC London 1000 km Challenge
    Ride 2, 2nd July
London to King's Lynn via Cromer
    215 miles
    1 Day

It will soon be time for our 2nd epic ride as part of the CC London 1000 km Challenge, so book your place and start training for this excellent adventure.

There are 3 rides as part of the challenge and you can ride any or all of the rides. The first one has been successfully passed however, by 14 of our guys and girls when they rode all the way to York in the day.

This ride is a fantastic scenic route taking in some beautiful Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk lanes, through some stunning countryside. A brief stop at the sea side for a paddle, before finishing our adventure in King's Lynn.

    The format is
Meet North London (venue TBC) for a prompt 5.30 am depart
Ride the 215 mile route with 3 designated stops on the way
Arrive in King's Lynn and catch the train back to London
    All in 1 Day.

The ride will once again be,
Fully supported with a large amount of very carefully selected food and drinks, to ensure we are well feed and watered along the way, with the right types of food (not just bananas and energy bars)
Bikes will be brought home in the van, while we relax in comfort on the train journey home.

There will be a number of ride leaders present to ensure the pace is kept at what it needs to and everyone is looked after and of course we find our way.

Bags will be kept on the van so as we do not have to carry to much on the day, and we have a fresh set of cloths for our journey home.

These rides are challenging, but accessible to everyone. it is a mind over matter, and a focus that sees you do what you never imagined you could do. Before attempting this challenge though, you should be able to comfortably do a 100 mile ride. There will Club be a 1st Sunday of the month 100 miler in June so if you would like to come to Kings Lynn and unsure of the distance, please come on that ride and test yourself out. Of course any other questions about whether you can do it or not, you can contact me privately in confidence at any time.

So please start booking your place and do something amazing that you never thought you could or would. You can sign on the club shop

The cost is £52.50 for the full support, plus the cost of your train ticket, which we all buy separately. The earlier you buy that, the cheaper it is.

Any questions at all give me a shout
